CT-SI Names Finalists for 2012 Utility Technology Challenge

Congratulations to the top 15 companies in this year's Utility Technology Challenge. The companies listed below will present their technologies to the committee during the 2012 TechConnect World conference in Santa Clara, California from June 19 -21 for a chance to win a part of the $100,000 in pilot project demonstration funds available in this year's contest.

2012 CTSI Utility Technology Challenge Semifinalists Selected, Now One Step Closer to $100K Demonstration Funds

 

AC-NET is a sponsor of the 2012 CTSI Utility Technology Challenge. On March 15, 2012, CTSI announced the semifinalists. From the 25 semifinalists, 15 will move on as finalists to present in Santa Clara, California this June at CTSI's Clean Technology Conference.

 

The semifinalists for CTSI's third annual Utility Technology Challenge are recognized for exceptional promise in the areas of: pollution monitoring and reduction, HVAC, transportation, distributed generation, building and energy efficiency, energy storage, natural gas, smart grid, and transmission and distribution. The 2012 semifinalists are:

Congratulations to ViridiISTOR: 2011 AC-NET Competition Winner!

ViridiSTOR earned the $10,000 grand prize in the 2011 AC-NET Clean Tech Business Plan Competition. 

 

AC-NET’s business plan competition, which is now in its third year, seeks to promote and develop emerging clean tech companies with solutions to Southern California’s environmental and industrial challenges.

 

ViridiSTOR from Tustin, California won the top prize for their Green Box™ Solution that replaces paper-based materials at trade shows and conferences with electronic files including video, high-resolution color photos, presentations, or entire product catalogs.

Congratulations to Atlantis Technologies: 2011 Competition Runner-Up

Earning second place honors and the $5,000 prize in the 2011 AC-NET competition was Atlantis Technologies from Monarch Beach, California.  Atlantis Technologies designs, builds, and installs water purification systems using Radial Deionization technology (RDITM) to efficiently and effectively remove dissolved salt from oil and gas wastewater, and other high salinity industrial waste water, to produce reusable water and concentrated waste.

 

2011 Winners Continue to Earn Industry Honors

ViridiSTOR Wins IMEX America, CEO Mullin Earns Innovator Award

ViridiSTOR continued to demonstrate the value proposition of its GreenBox product to manage trade show and conference materials.

 

IMEX America recognized ViridiSTOR as one of three up and coming technology companies in the events and meeting industry.

 

Terry Mullin, CEO and President of ViridiSTOR® LLC, has also been named the winner of the 2011 Innovator Award for the Software category at the 53rd Annual David Packard Medal of Achievement and Innovator Awards, which honors individuals for their contributions to the technology industry.

 

Atlantis Technologies Wins "Idol", Finalist for Imagine H2O, and Selected People's Choice

 

Atlantis Technologies won the American Water Summit "Water Investment Idol" contest held on November 9th in Atlanta, GA.  The annual contest was hosted by "Global Water Intelligence" and the votes were cast by the 200+ audience members.

 

Atlantis Technologies is also a finalist for the 2011 "Imagine H2O" waste water competition.  Winner to be announced on March 20, 2012 at the annual Water Entrepreneur Showcase in San Francisco. 

 

Finally, Atlantis took home top honors in the San Diego Tech Coast Angel's Quick Pitch Competition in October 2011.  Read the story from xconomy.com here.
